About the role

Lofranco Corriero is a very well established Litigation firm specializing in Personal Injury law and is seeking to add an Accounting Clerk to their team. The ideal candidates must have completed a degree in Accounting and must have a minimum of 1-2 years of Accounting experience.

Primary Duties Include

Processing of clients’ accounts Match third party cheques to disbursements Performing bank reconciliations in both PC Law and Soluno Cheque requisitions; signed and distributed; issuing cheques Work with AP/AR, billings and banking Post all deposits; issue refunds for overpayments, create invoices and post Pay and post disbursements in PC Law/Soluno Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting Assist with preparation of working papers files for external account

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of Accounting experience preferably in a law firm Post-secondary education in accounting Enrollment in CPA program would be an asset Working knowledge of PC Law or Soluno would be an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
