Reports to: Strategic Advisor, Physician Wellness & Medical Culture

Type: Full-Time | Temporary | 1 Vacancy

Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid)

Salary: $17.75/hour (minimum) to $32.31/hour (maximum)

You Have

  • Knowledge of the healthcare system and its impact on physicians
  • Strong research, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with health policy, economics, and government relations (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
  • French language skills (spoken/written) are an asset
  • Studies specializing in health policy, political science, law or medicine

And This Is Totally You

  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize research on physician health and safety
  • Interview key informants to identify best practices for addressing bullying and harassment
  • Develop data-driven wellness messages and ROI/business case templates
  • Draft a white paper on physician health and safety, incorporating best practices
  • Support the Admin Burden initiative by researching and planning solutions to reduce burnout
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and present findings to leadership teams
  • Assist with day-to-day operations across multiple streams of wellness and safety initiatives
