Location: Barrie, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

Investigative Risk Management (IRM), an Allied Universal® Company, globally recognized, is Canada's leading provider of investigative, surveillance, SIU, OSINT, social media intelligence, and risk management services. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships throughout Canada.

This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and representing IRM's comprehensive suite of investigative and intelligence services to insurance carriers, law firms, corporations, government agencies, and other strategic partners.

The successful candidate will be expected to build long-term client relationships, and consistently achieve measurable business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities throughout Canada.
  • Develop and execute an annual regional sales strategy focused on sustainable revenue growth.
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Prepare professional proposals, presentations, and service agreements.
  • Represent IRM and Allied Universal at conferences, trade shows, and industry functions.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within current accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Address client concerns promptly while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain an accurate and current sales pipeline within the company's CRM.
  • Document all client interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and account activity.
  • Develop quarterly strategic account plans for all assigned major clients.
  • Provide regular sales forecasting and business development updates to leadership.

Performance Expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to achieve measurable business development results, including:

  • Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline valued at a minimum of $750,000 within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Secure 8–12 new client accounts during the first year.
  • Increase revenue within existing assigned accounts by 10–15% annually through cross-selling and strategic account development.
  • Conduct a minimum of 20 meaningful client meetings per month, including prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and complete quarterly strategic account plans for all major accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives established by management.
  • Demonstrate consistent business development activity through prospecting, networking, and client engagement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum five years of successful business development or account management experience.
  • Proven history of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience selling professional services in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout Ontario.

Preferred

  • Experience within the insurance, investigations, risk management, security, legal, or claims industries.
  • Existing relationships within the Canadian insurance marketplace.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of consultative selling methodologies.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary - $ 75,000 to $ 85,000 – depending on experience
