Position Overview
The Creative Content Specialist will bring the Malahat SkyWalk (MSW) experience to life through storytelling, photography, videography, and design. Reporting to the Marketing & Brand Manager, this role focuses on producing high-quality, digital-first content that drives awareness, engagement, and visitation. The Specialist will also support internal creative needs through signage, event posters, banners, and other collateral. The ideal candidate has strong creative skills, an eye for design, and proven experience in digital and social platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)
In this role, you will:
- Plan, capture, and edit digital-first content(photo, video, graphics, copy) aligned with MSW brand guidelines.
- Capture on-site experiences, events, and seasonal activations for digital and PR use.
- Manage day-to-day posting and engagement across social platforms.
- Curate and amplify user-generated content (UGC); manage community interactions.
- Monitor competitors, spot trends, and proactively adopt new content formats.
- Support marketing campaigns with creative digital assets and event coverage.
- Design and produce internal graphics such as signage, event posters, banners, and other print/digital collateral.
- Track performance metrics and provide monthly reporting with insights.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience, Abilities and Qualifications To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:
- 2–3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or design.
- Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of typography, composition, colour, and layout.
- Solid understanding of social platforms, algorithms, and emerging trends.
- Portfolio submission is required; applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Work Conditions
- On-site work at Malahat SkyWalk with possibility of hybrid flexibility.
- Work week may include weekends as needed for events or coverage.
- This position requires flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
