The Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Large Language Models begins operating as a senior-level contributor, moving beyond feature ownership to drive small projects end-to-end. They apply deep ML expertise, ensure quality delivery, and start shaping the technical standards of the team while still receiving direction on priorities.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement ML models and pipelines with increasing autonomy.
• Translate research prototypes into production-ready components.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for specific production applications.
• Work with large datasets to build modeling and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate models into products.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers on code quality and model practices.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• 5–7 years of ML engineering or applied research experience.
• Solid skills in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Experience with model training, deployment, and monitoring at scale.

This role is available throughout Canada. Employees within a 100-kilometer radius of our Toronto office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.
