Project Manager / Estimator – HVAC

Location: Richmond, BC

About the Role

AirTek Canada is looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll be involved from the bidding stage all the way through project completion, working closely with contractors, engineers, suppliers, and our internal sales team.

We're looking for someone who understands the HVAC industry, enjoys building relationships, and can keep multiple projects moving while staying organized and meeting deadlines.

What You'll Be Doing

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare accurate quotations, take offs and competitive bids for HVAC equipment and mechanical packages. Request pricing from suppliers and manufacturers. Coordinate with the sales team, suppliers, and customers to ensure projects stay on schedule. Manage projects after award, including shop drawings, equipment orders, deliveries, and project timelines. Track changes, process revisions, and maintain project documentation. Maintain the bid calendar and make sure all tender deadlines are met. Keep project information and CRM records organized and up to date. Work with internal teams to provide customers with the best possible service.

What We're Looking For

1–3 years of experience in HVAC estimating, mechanical construction, or project coordination. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is an asset. Good understanding of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems. Experience reading mechanical drawings and specifications. Familiar with the tendering and bid process. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with CRM software. Strong communication and customer service skills. Well organized and able to manage several projects at the same time. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
