Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a 315-bed academic and teaching hospital that provides specialized mental health, addiction and geriatric care. Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex and disadvantaged individuals in Ontario and are the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in the province.
The Manager of People Experience & Talent Services is currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator. This position provides support to the hospital in all aspects of the recruitment function, as well as the hospital's Talent Management programs and services.
Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. Office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide full cycle recruitment services by developing job postings, screening applicants, consulting with managers to generate candidate lists, drafting interview questions, leading interviews, conducting reference checks, drafting job offers and providing successful candidate selection guidance in adherence to legislative requirements and collective agreements where applicable.
- Provide support and guidance to managers related to recruitment function, collective agreements and best practices to recruit and retain an engaged workforce.
- Support coordination and planning of hospital job fairs, drop-in interviews and networking events; attend offsite job fairs and recruitment events in alignment with the hospital's recruitment plan
- Participate in Exit and Stay Interview processes, in support of the recognition and retention strategy
- Collaborate with student placement coordinator and internal preceptors to support student recruitment strategy; conduct student recruitment presentations
- Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives regarding talent management processes
- Assist Human Resources Consultants, HRIS Analyst, Talent & Volunteer Services Coordinator with special projects
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in a related field such as Human Resources, Business, Psychology/Mental Health or Health Care/Public Administration required
- Specialized training/education in the Human Resources Management function required
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Human Resources required
- Current relevant human resources legislation
- Talent management best practices in attracting and retaining talent; Standard recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs) and department KPIs
- Knowledge of Human Resources best practices, policies, and procedures
- Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office Suite; Knowledge of HRIS software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; advanced planned, organization and problem solving
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation)
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills.
