About the role

We are supporting a global technology organization that operates at the forefront of smart building innovation. This search is tied to a strategic growth initiative focused on expanding advanced property technology solutions into the multi-residential market. The mandate is centred on condominium developments, purpose-built rental communities, student housing, and large-scale mixed-use residential portfolios. The focus is on helping property owners and developers modernize building operations, elevate resident experience, and streamline how communities are managed at scale.

You will be responsible for driving new business growth across the multi-residential sector, positioning integrated building technology solutions as essential infrastructure for modern residential communities. This is a hunter role with strong emphasis on territory development, strategic pipeline creation, and long-cycle solution selling into sophisticated real estate organizations.

This is a consultative, B2B sales role built for someone who understands complex real estate environments and knows how to navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making. You are not selling a transactional product. You are building long-term partnerships across an evolving and highly competitive property landscape. Just as important as winning new business, you will be expected to actively maintain, grow, and deepen existing accounts within your territory.

Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 base + substantial commission program

Description

Develop new business opportunities across condominium, rental, and mixed-use residential markets Build and manage relationships with developers, property owners, and large-scale property management groups Identify and pursue multi-site and portfolio-level opportunities within the assigned region Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through to close, including stakeholder alignment across technical and commercial teams Collaborate closely with internal specialists to tailor solutions to client needs and project requirements Build and execute a structured territory plan focused on growth, penetration, and long-term account development Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong retention, expansion opportunities, and ongoing client engagement Act as both hunter and farmer, balancing new acquisition with strategic account growth within established relationships Maintain strong awareness of industry trends in residential development, smart communities, and property modernization Represent the organization within developer networks, industry events, and real estate forums Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and client adoption

Requirements

Proven success in B2B solution sales, ideally within one or more of the following environments Property technology or smart building solutions Real estate services or development-focused sales with a focus on pipeline development Complex, consultative commercial sales environments Strong understanding of multi-residential or high-density property ecosystems Demonstrated ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Hunter mentality with strong pipeline generation capability, combined with account farming discipline Consultative selling style with a focus on solving business challenges Experience working with developers, asset managers, or property management organizations Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial value Post-secondary education is considered an asset
