About The Team Join the Evisort Platform UI team, where you’ll be building the foundational design system that powers our entire product suite. You’ll be working with a high-impact, cross-functional team that sits at the intersection of Product, Design and Engineering. We are focused on creating a seamless, automated workflow that scales—moving beyond just "maintaining a library" to architecting a systemic framework that simplifies the daily lives of every designer and engineer at the company.
About The Role Evisort Engineering is growing! As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to driving our technical strategy for high-quality user interfaces. You’ll act as the primary bridge between Design, Product, and Engineering, ensuring that design intent translates perfectly into type-safe, production-ready code. Your technical contributions and team-first mindset will play a key role in delivering an intuitive and efficient "source of truth" that helps our global organization build better products, faster.
You will:
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and Engineering teams to build and evolve our design system vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Architect core component libraries and design token systems using React and TypeScript, ensuring they are clean, type-safe, and highly reusable.
- Participate in a supportive, iterative frontend team culture that has a commitment to being "DOM-first".
- Take ownership of the design-to-code pipeline, working with designers to ensure Figma mocks and specs are translated to Design System implementation.
- Champion the adoption of the design system across the engineering org through documentation, workshops, and pair programming.
- Implement comprehensive visual testing and accessibility strategies to ensure WCAG compliance and prevent regressions.
About You Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript, with a focus on building shared component libraries or design systems.
Other Qualifications
- Expert-level knowledge of Core Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, and ARIA) Proven experience building systemic frameworks, not just UI kits; you understand the nuances of Design Tokens and multi-platform scaling.
- Hands-on experience with Vite, Storybook, and modern CI/CD workflows
- A commitment to WCAG compliance and experience with visual regression tools like Chromatic or Playwright.
- Comfortable navigating Figma variants and variables; experience with the Figma API or plugin development is a significant plus.
- Experience using coding agents (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and automate repetitive UI tasks.
- Strong ability to drive alignment between stakeholders and translate complex UI problems into clear, thoughtful technical solutions.
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contributing to the growth of your teammates.

Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
