About the role
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, theForklift Operator/Order Pickercompletes shipments by processing and loading orders.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
The hourly pay rate range for this role is $21.00/hour-$24.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, day shift or afternoon shift
Primary Activities and Tasks:
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packaging and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Perform drum/pallet cleaning and sorting
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Academic & Professional Training:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalency certificate
- Forklift Operations Certificate
Experience:
- 3 + years in similar role
Skills/Competencies:
- Forklift Operator certificate
- Narrow Aisle Swing Reach experience
- Proficient using RF scanner
- Knowledge of various material handling equipment
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
