Position Details:

• Day Shift:
  • Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts).
  • 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay Range:

• $26 - $28 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Prepare and stage outbound shipments according to schedule
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and damage
• Tag, sort, and stack materials in designated areas
• Maintain clean, organized shipping and receiving areas
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move steel and related products
• Support inventory control processes by ensuring proper documentation and tracking
• Prioritize safety and organization in all yard and warehouse activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs independently
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Proficiency in identifying various steel shapes and sizes using a tape measure, Vernier caliper, and steel guidebook
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Preferred: Over 3 years of forklift experience
• Experience with Combi-Lift and familiarity with the steel industry or warehouse operations is an asset
