Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role is critical in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and robust financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This is a hybrid position based in our Toronto office, with an expectation to work on-site three days per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly board-level financial reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely submission to support executive decision-making.
  • Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Maintain accurate headcount data and ensure effective workforce planning to support organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize Power BI to maintain dashboards and visualizations that enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an asset.

Compensation

The annual salary for this permanent, full-time role is $90,000 CAD. The salary is complemented with a comprehensive benefit program, including employer-paid health and dental coverage, life insurance, and a pension plan that starts three months after the hire date.
