The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC, or the College) is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The College regulates over 12,000 health professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopathic physicians, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, and acupuncturists across British Columbia.
Formed on June 28, 2024, through the amalgamation of four provincial health profession regulators, the College was established as part of the Ministry of Health’s initiative to modernize the health profession regulatory framework in B.C. Its primary role is to protect public health and safety by licensing and regulating health professionals and the settings in which they practice. This includes ensuring that every health professional within its purview is fully qualified to provide safe and ethical care.
About This Employment Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Information Systems Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, IT, this role will blend traditional Level 1 IT support with CRM system support as we implement a new customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day technical IT support for employees while also serving as the first point of contact for user issues related to our CRM system. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in both IT infrastructure and business application support.
It is essential for all College staff to contribute to a team approach with a public protection focus, delivering efficient services that align with and allow the College to meet its regulatory, strategic, and operational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
Advanced IT Systems Support

Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure across the organization, ensuring system stability and security.

Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and security configurations.

Implement and maintain endpoint management solutions, patching, and monitoring tools to ensure device compliance.

Support identity and access management, including role-based permissions and MFA policies.
-
Support Microsoft 365 administration, email setup, and user access management.
-
Develop documentation and technical runbooks for repeatable IT processes and disaster recovery procedures.
Alinity CRM Administration & Support
-
Serve as one of the primary support resources for the Alinity CRM platform, handling day-to-day troubleshooting, configuration, and user support.

Manage CRM user roles, permissions, data integrity, and ongoing validation activities.
-
Assist with data migration, testing, and deployment activities during new CRM phases and releases.
-
Partner with business units to gather requirements and configure Alinity workflows, forms, and reports accordingly.

Create user training materials, FAQs, and documentation to support CRM adoption across departments

Monitor CRM performance and provide recommendations for optimization and future enhancements.
Records Management & Compliance

Support the development and implementation of the organization’s records management system leveraging Microsoft Purview and SharePoint.

Work with departments to define retention policies, metadata standards, and file structuring models.

Configure and apply compliance policies, sensitivity labels, and conditional access controls for data governance.

Assist in departmental migrations to structured SharePoint sites with proper tagging and retention labels applied.

Provide staff training and documentation on best practices for document storage, retrieval, and compliance requirements.
Artificial Intelligence & Automation

Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities for AI-assisted tools and workflows that improve operational efficiency.

Integrate AI capabilities into CRM and business systems where appropriate (e.g., automated responses, document classification, predictive analytics).

Work with IT leadership to design, test, and implement AI agents tailored to regulatory, records management, and customer service needs.

Ensure AI adoption aligns with privacy, security, and compliance requirements.

Document AI use cases and create reference materials for staff adoption and governance.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities

Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.

Contribute to organizational security posture by implementing best practices and user awareness campaigns.

Provide technical insights and feedback to management on system improvements and emerging technologies.

Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning with updated documentation and testing.
Qualifications and Skills
-
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

3 to 5 years of progressive IT systems experience, including administration, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.
-
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, with preference for Alinity CRM (or similar systems such as Thentia, Dynamics 365, or Salesforce).
-
Familiarity with CRM data migration, workflow configuration, and user training in a regulatory or membership-based environment is an asset.
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and identity/access management (MFA, conditional access, role-based permissions).

Experience with records management systems or compliance frameworks, ideally using Microsoft Purview and SharePoint for retention policies, classification, and secure file structuring.

Exposure to AI and automation tools, with the ability to work with business units to design, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support and train staff of varying technical backgrounds.
Compensation and Perks
The salary for this full-time position ranges from $65,520 - $88,500 annually, based on a 37.5-hour work week. The starting salary will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, the salaries of peers within the same range, market conditions, and other relevant considerations.
