The right candidate must have three or more years' experience in a private sector hospitality environment which involved high volume and/or high-end food service production and must demonstrate verbal and written skills acceptable for performing responsibilities. Good listening skills with some concentration is a necessary skill. You must also be able to stand 100% of the time, perform repetitive motions in sometimes awkward positions and be able to lift up to 23kg safely.
Multiple positions available.
The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
- High school completion with job related options is required.
- Must possess and maintain in good standing a Food Handler's Certificate.
- Minimum 1 year - considerable practical or position related experience.
- Must have Cash Register/Handling experience.
- Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to make accurate and quick mathematical calculations.
- Must have full medical examination upon request.
- Must have full medical examination upon request.
- Standing 100% of the time.
- Some heavy lifting required. Must be able to lift and carry a load up to 23 kg without strain.
- Repetitive work and actions may include rapid cash coin and note handling, reaching, slicing, chopping and spreading.
- Regular attendance and punctuality required.
- Will be required to provide acceptable Criminal Record and Vulnerable Persons Registry checks.
