Overview:
Fountain Tire is seeking a dedicated Insurance and Legal Administrator to be a key player in our dynamic Legal team based at our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office!

Summary of the role:
The focus of this role is to manage the blanket insurance program, claims management, banking, AMVIC licensing requirements, fulfil vehicle and business-related licensing services, and to provide support to other Legal team members.

- Competitive salary based on experience: $49,000 - $55,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer insurance programs including claims handling, renewals, premium invoicing, quarterly reporting, liaison with brokers/adjusters and handled related internal/external communications.
- Issue and track certificates of insurance.
- Handle ICBC and MPI related tasks and inquiries.
- Obtain and renew AMVIC licenses, manage annual renewals and inspection requests.
- Manage and administer bank account and business number matters.
- Ensure compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), by updating and managing consent records.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for insurance and legal support functions.
- Process payables and manage online accounts for the Legal Department.
- Provide support and backup to other Legal and Office Services team members.
What does it take to get on track?
- 2 to 3 years of general business experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes and database/ records management experience is an asset
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to handle the highest level of sensitive and confidential information with a high attention to detail
- Must have reliable assess to transportation and a valid drivers license
