About the role

Please find the Job Position Details; Position: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada (Hybrid) OR 100% Remote Duration: August 21st to December 30th Pay Rate: $90/hr - $120/hr CAD (Depending upon the experience)

Note:- All the roles need Security clearances.

Job Description:-

Role 1 - Senior Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

  • University undergraduate degree or diploma or Ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT.
  • Experience working with SIEM in terms of configuration, administration support, configuring, patching, and on boarding new systems.
  • Experience working with SIEM solutions to implement, deploy various architecture, On-Prem, Cloud and/or Hybrid.
  • Experience in Data migration, mapping, transformation, automation and custom parsing rules and scripting for different log formats and infrastructure logs.
  • Experience in experience in data validation and testing.
  • Experience in improvements to SIEM for efficiencies and enhancements to strengthen security posture.

Role 2 - Intermediate Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

  • University undergraduate degree or diploma or engineering or five years of progressive experience in IT.
  • Experience working with SIEM in terms of configuration, administration support, configuring, patching, and on boarding new systems.
  • Experience working with SIEM solutions to implement, deploy various architecture, On-Prem, Cloud and/or Hybrid.
  • Experience in Data migration, mapping, transformation, automation and custom parsing rules and scripting for different log formats and infrastructure logs.
  • Experience in experience in data validation and testing.
  • Experience in improvements to SIEM for efficiencies and enhancements to strengthen security posture.
