We are seeking a Solution Architect, Power Platform & D365 for our growing Digital Solutions team. The successful candidate will serve as the architectural authority across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engagements, capable of acting as the Functional Architect, Technical Architect, and Enterprise Architect based on project needs. This role is accountable for end-to-end solution integrity, from business process design and functional architecture through technical implementation and enterprise-level platform strategy. You will design scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that align business objectives with Microsoft’s ecosystem, while ensuring architectural consistency across projects, programs, and client roadmaps. You will work directly with client executives, IT leadership, and delivery teams to define CRM platform strategy, integration patterns, data architecture, environment strategy, and governance, while remaining close enough to delivery to ensure solutions are practical, performant, and executable.
At MNP Digital, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we deliver complex, high-impact CRM solutions—mentoring teams, influencing strategy, and helping clients realize measurable business value through technology.
The ideal candidate would be based in our Calgary office or any of our metropolitan locations including Toronto and Vancouver.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Enterprise Architect for Dynamics 365–centric solutions, defining platform strategy, environment topology (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod), security models, data architecture, and integration patterns.
- Own the end-to-end architecture across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights (Journeys & Data), Field Service, Power Platform, and Azure.
- Define and govern solution architecture standards, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Ensure alignment with Microsoft Success by Design, Power Platform Well-Architected Framework, and MNP Digital delivery standards.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term enterprise roadmap and technical debt management.
- Translate complex business processes into clear functional designs, technical architectures, and solution blueprints.
- Lead requirements discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Design integrations using Azure services and third-party systems.
- Define data models, extensibility patterns, customizations, and automation strategies while maximizing out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Provide architectural guidance on Copilot, AI Builder, and intelligent automation scenarios.
- Mentor and coach Consultants, Senior Consultants, and emerging Architects.
- Elevate the technical and architectural maturity of delivery teams through design reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to practice assets including reference architectures, patterns, accelerators, and standards.
- Support internal capability building across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and AI.
- Lead or support pre-sales activities including solution design, estimates, demos, and technical responses.
- Help clients define multi-year CRM and platform roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
- Identify opportunities to expand client value through innovation, optimization, and platform maturity.
- Represent MNP Digital within the Microsoft ecosystem and at industry events.
Skills & Experience
- Completion of a Post-Secondary Degree in a relevant field or ten (10) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience
- Seven to 10 plus years designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
- Demonstrated experience acting as a Solution Architect and Enterprise Architect on complex, multi-system implementations.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, and the Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Azure integration and extensibility patterns.
- Proven ability to design enterprise-scale architectures that balance business, functional, and technical considerations.
- Experience leading architecture across Agile, Hybrid, and phased delivery models.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge executive, business, and technical audiences
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with Customer Insights – Data (CDP), Contact Center, Teams telephony, and Copilot/AI scenarios.
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-600 (Solution Architect Expert), MB-210/230/260, AI-900, or Azure certifications.
- Eligibility for, or possession of, Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability or Secret Clearance.
