Primary Purpose of the Position

A Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, tracking, and distributing materials and products within a warehouse, factory, or distribution center to support efficient operations. This position reports to the plant manager.

Specific Duties

· Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, or storage areas

· Move inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks

· Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments

· Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment

· Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels

· Label and store materials in designated locations

· Follow safety procedures and company policies

· Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized

· Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

· Apply FIFO

· Help with cycle counts

• Receiving shipments
• Stocking shelves
• Delivering materials to production lines
• Preparing outgoing shipments
• Conducting inventory checks

Required Training, Knowledge, and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 5 Years minimum Experience is A must.

· Ability to lift heavy items (often 50 lbs or more)

· Basic math and inventory tracking skills

· Attention to detail and organizational abilities

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Forklift certification may be required or preferred

· Good communication and teamwork skills

DAY SHIFT: Monday to Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, overtime as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
