Sales Development Representative
About the role
Provision is automating construction. We help contractors speed up their work, reduce risk, and eliminate errors that cost the industry more than $500B every year. We are building the most ambitious vision of what is possible with AI in construction, and we expect our engineering leaders to be AI-forward in how they lead.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in office.
What you’ll do: You will play a key role in helping grow our customer base by identifying and creating opportunities for the sales team. You will collaborate with Account Executives to build target account lists, refine outbound messaging, and work toward achieving sales targets. Through phone, email, and other channels, you’ll connect with construction professionals to understand their challenges and provide new insights for improving their business.
Conduct daily activities including: Pre-call research and preparation High-volume outreach to prospects Nurturing relationships with follow-up communications Accurately maintain HubSpot CRM records and pipeline data Test and adjust outbound strategies to get better results
Qualifications: Must be a fluent English speaker Confident in engaging with individuals at all levels of an organization A strong motivation to build a career in sales Resilient and able to handle rejection Willingness to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take initiative to solve problems independently Embrace a growth mindset with openness to learning, improving, and being highly coachable Able to process feedback constructively and overcome obstacles Willingness to work really hard and get things done
Nice to haves: 1+ years of experience in SaaS, especially software sales Construction industry experience (Working with or at a General Contractor or Subcontractor) Experience working in a startup environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
$85,000 OTE (on-target earnings), consisting of a base salary plus variable commission tied to qualified meetings booked and pipeline generated. Commission is uncapped, so top performers can exceed OTE.
