You support our team as
Quality Manager (f/m/d) - maternity leave cover 12 months Responsibilities
- You will manage the work of technicians (2) in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA)
- Ensuring continuous improvement, Operational Excellence (OpEx) and effective management of the quality system will be within your responsibilities.
- You manage and participate in internal audits, client audits, supplier qualification, and certification audits
- You will manage and update the certification programs currently in place.
- You ensure compliance with legal and customer-specific requirements across all quality-related processes
- You handle international customer inquiries and complaints in collaboration with your team and maintain close contact with our subsidiaries
- You work closely with production and supplier management, identify opportunities for improvement, support process and system optimization, and are involved in raw material approvals.
Qualifications
- With a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and or Quality Control (QC), you will bring valuable expertise to the team.
- A degree in food science or a related field will be considered an asset.
- Your proficiency in both English and French (oral and written) is essential, as a portion of the interview process will be conducted in English.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is necessary for effective performance in this role.
- Knowledge of SAP is a major asset, contributing to our operational efficiency.
- Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively manage and lead your team.
- You should demonstrate strong decision-making skills, exercising sound judgment on quality matters.
- As a team player, you will be well-organized and adept at managing priorities effectively.
