Oxford Properties Group (“Oxford”) is seeking a Manager, Asset Management to join the Canadian Asset Management team. You will oversee a portfolio of residential assets, bringing a strong operating mindset, rigorous financial analysis, and collaborative stakeholder management to help execute asset strategy.

What you’ll do:

  • Own asset-level performance for an assigned multi-family portfolio, translating strategy into operating and financial priorities across value-add, core-plus, and core strategies.
  • Partner with third-party property managers to drive revenue management, leasing execution, expense control, and resident experience in line with budget and asset plan.
  • Lead recurring performance reviews (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with internal and external stakeholders to understand variances and risks while proposing corrective actions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of each asset’s structure, operating model, competitive set, and submarket dynamics to inform pricing, operational, and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain asset plans, annual budgets, and periodic reforecasts; ensure assumptions are well-documented and aligned with the overall portfolio strategy.
  • Produce clear, decision-ready reporting and analysis (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual), highlighting key drivers and recommendations for asset level outcomes.
  • Align internal and external stakeholders on asset priorities, recommendations, and approvals.
  • Improve tools, templates, and processes to elevate portfolio reporting quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Support financing, development, and investment initiatives by coordinating inputs, analysis, and other materials as required.
  • Prepare materials for internal committees as well as internal and external stakeholders, including presentation decks, property tour packages, and investment/operational analyses.
  • Deliver ad hoc initiatives and deep-dive analyses to address emerging opportunities, risks, and special projects.
  • Represent Oxford through participation in company and industry events, strengthening relationships across the OMERS community and external partners.
  • Contribute to team capability by sharing knowledge, supporting training, and providing informal coaching and feedback.

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in residential real estate (e.g., asset management, property management, investments, development, or appraisal).
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with third-party property management teams to deliver against budget and asset plan.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage projects end-to-end.
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Management, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Argus Enterprice and AI tools (e.g. Copilot) considered an asset.

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 per year.
