About The Role

As a Consulting Manager – Credit Risk Technology Business Analysis, you will make an impact by leading business analysis and technology transformation initiatives supporting wholesale credit risk management and regulatory-driven programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, helping define strategic solutions, improve risk management processes, and deliver enterprise-scale technology capabilities.

You will be a valued member of Cognizant Consulting's Banking and Financial Services practice, collaborating with client leadership, risk management teams, technology partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

Lead requirements management and business analysis activities for large-scale Credit Risk and Risk Technology initiatives. Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to define strategic solutions supporting wholesale borrower risk rating and risk management platforms. Translate complex business needs into actionable system requirements, user stories, data models, and functional specifications. Drive data analysis, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives across multiple upstream and downstream systems. Contribute to solution architecture, data governance, and technology modernization efforts while ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder alignment.

What You Must Have To Be Considered

8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or Consulting within Banking and Financial Services. Proven experience leading requirements delivery and stakeholder management for complex enterprise technology initiatives. Strong expertise in SQL, data analysis, data lineage, data reconciliation, and business process modelling. Experience working in Agile delivery environments using user stories, backlog management, and iterative development methodologies. Strong understanding of SDLC, systems integration, and enterprise data concepts. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.

These Will Help You Succeed

Experience supporting Credit Risk, Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Management technology programs. Knowledge of Basel II, Basel III, IFRS9, RDARR, CCAR, or similar regulatory initiatives. Understanding of borrower risk rating systems, risk analytics, and credit adjudication processes. Previous consulting experience managing workstreams, client relationships, and cross-functional project teams. Experience contributing to data architecture, data governance, or enterprise reporting initiatives.

Compensation

CAD $105,000 – $125,000 per year

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
