What you’ll be doing

The Senior Specialist, Sales Enablement & Events reports to Head of National Accounts and has primary accountability for the planning, governance, and delivery of national-level sales events that support National Accounts strategy and CAM Advisor Distribution sales priorities.

The role operates as a senior support point of coordination across sales leadership, internal partners, Portfolio Managers, sub-advisors, marketing, and compliance, exercising sound judgment to ensure high-impact, compliant advisor engagement activities. These include national meetings, roadshows, conferences, and strategic sponsorships. The Senior Specialist is accountable for event governance and adherence to NI 81-105 Mutual Fund Sales Practices and CAM Sales Practices Guidelines and sales leadership-ready reporting to enable effective sales follow-up and decision-making.

The expected annualized base salary range for this $52,890 to $68,440.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

How you’ll succeed

  • National Sales Events & Strategic Execution. Own the end-to-end planning and execution of national and regional sales events, including advisor conferences, roadshows, branch meetings, and strategic dealer-sponsored events. Translate National Accounts priorities and sales leadership direction into a coordinated annual event calendar and execution plan. Lead event governance, timelines, and stakeholder alignment, exercising discretion and independent judgment in execution. Ensure marketing initiatives and essential changes that are published to the various mediums meet client expectations and adhere to defined standards and compliance rules.
  • Event Governance, Risk & Compliance. Act as the primary owner of event-related compliance, ensuring adherence to NI 81-105 Mutual Fund Sales Practices and CAM Sales Practices Guidelines. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliant event structures, sponsorships, and advisor engagement practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation, approvals, and audit-ready records for all national sales events. Added responsibility for accuracy to prevent serious error, particularly when analyzing critical or sensitive data.
  • Senior Stakeholder Leadership. Serve as a senior liaison between Sales, National Accounts, Marketing, Business Controls, Portfolio Management & Research, sub-advisors, and external partners. Proactively manage competing priorities and resolve issues that could impact event quality, compliance, or delivery. Coordinate and prepare investment professionals and external partners for advisor-facing engagements.
  • Content Oversight & Messaging Coordination. Oversee the coordination, review, and readiness of investment commentaries, presentations, and marketing materials used in national sales events. Ensure materials are aligned with sales objectives, compliant standards, and consistent messaging. Direct post-event content packaging, including summaries and approved follow-up materials.
  • Executive Reporting & Sales Enablement. Produce concise, management -level reporting on event activity, advisor engagement, and follow-up outcomes. Provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership to improve event effectiveness and inform future planning.
  • Tools, Process & Continuous Improvement. Leverage internal platforms and processes to enhance event execution, governance, and reporting efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve event frameworks, controls, and best practices at a national level.

Who you are

  • You have a degree/diploma. Post Secondary education completion (college or university)

Anticipating divisional /departmental administrative needs, recognizing potential problems and finding creative solutions.
  • You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends. Proficient in MS office suite (MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • You can demonstrate experience. 3 years of Sales Coordination and Administration experience in a fast-paced environment. Understanding diverse client requirements and customize standard work procedures in response to client needs within agreed upon deadlines. The achievement of many assigned goals requires the associate to obtain assistance from internal colleagues in other functional areas. Moreover, many assignments may require the associate to secure pertinent data from external contacts or sources. Adapting administrative/operational procedures and learning or developing new systems to meet the personal style of the Sales Directors (or equivalent).
