Finning Canada is looking for an HET to fill a role that would primarily involve engine diagnostics, repairs and overhauls on a wide variety of Caterpillar engine platforms. Job Description:

  • Engine diagnostics, repairs and overhauls
  • Trouble shooting equipment and perform repairs
  • Experience using applied Failure Analysis and Reuse & Salvage Guidelines

Qualifications & Experience

  • Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
  • Minimum 4 years experience working on diesel engines
  • Dedication to safety
  • Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems experience
  • Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
  • Previous Gas Engine and Power Generation experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
