The Opportunity
Tundra has an opening for an Inside Technical Sales - Measurement & Analytical role, based in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be a Technical Fixed Gas and Flame Detection authority and applications professional who reflects their corporate commitment to being responsive to our customers’ unique needs. The successful individual will have a proven track record of design and implementation of fixed gas and flame detection systems through inside sales; while thriving in an environment that is client-focused and is skillful at maintaining a high degree of contact customers through the design and order cycle.
The Role

Will be a Technical Fixed Gas and Flame Detection authority and applications professional.

Is motivated by providing solutions to meet customer needs and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each and every customer interaction.

Builds knowledge base through taking personal initiative and has the aptitude to be able to clearly communicate the technical solution to the customer.

Displays an outgoing personality and easily initiates conversations with clients.
-
Displays the type of personality that can easily and clearly communicate a polite persona over the phone.

Can liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer needs are being met.
-
Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming customer objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.

Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales.

Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate departments.

Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
The Candidate
-
Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Fixed Gas and Flame Products.

Ability to design, size, select and supply equipment to support all Fixed Gas and Flame opportunities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.

Proficient in working with an ERP System

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
