EBARA HG is seeking an experienced and strategicControllerto lead our accounting operations and provide financial insight that supports business growth and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial strategy within a well-established, global manufacturing organization known for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
As Controller, you will oversee financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, and process improvements, working closely with operations, supply chain, and senior leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys partnering with the business to drive performance and enhance financial visibility in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
##What You’ll Do
###Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and fixed assets
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
###Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
- Partner with operational leaders to enhance profitability and efficiency
###Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
- Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and physical inventory processes
- Analyze production variances across labor, materials, and overhead
- Provide financial guidance to support pricing and operational improvements
###Internal Controls & Compliance
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate external audits and government reporting requirements
- Support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
###Cash Flow & Treasury
- Monitor cash flow and working capital performance
- Optimize AR/AP processes to improve cash cycles
- Support banking relationships and financing activities
###Systems & Process Improvement
- Support ERP and financial system optimization
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
###Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop members of the finance team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and senior leadership
- Provide financial insight to support strategic business initiatives
##What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation (or near completion)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capability
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Collaborative leadership style with a hands-on approach
