Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for multi-residential turnover projects.
  • Analyze project requirements, drawings, and specifications to develop estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information.
  • Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities where applicable.
  • Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing information for future projects.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Assist in contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior renovations and building maintenance projects, including conducting site visits, interpreting drawings, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing.
  • Schedule, order, and coordinate timely delivery of materials to job sites, ensuring quality and quantity meet project requirements while tracking inventory and managing supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to support smooth project execution and adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Manage project documentation, including proposals, change orders, purchase orders, and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients

Profile

A successful Estimator - Multi-Residential Turnover should have:

  • 2-5 years experience in the property industry, specifically with multi-residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and tools, such as estimating software and MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costing, and renovation methods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid G-Class driver's license and access to a vehicle.
