  • Developing and supporting CTL initiatives, such as learning communities, events, and micro-credentials, while engaging with external networks and organizing conferences and workshops to share knowledge and ideas;
  • Initiating, leading and participating in scholarly activities, including the dissemination of SoTL through events, publications, reports, and academic works, as well as research into teaching and learning practices in post-secondary education;
  • Leading or co-leading teaching and learning development projects for curriculum, courses, and non-traditional learning;
  • Staying current through self-directed research and active participation in workshops, symposia, conferences, and engagement with literature to inform decision-making and contribute to knowledge creation;
  • Creating documents, guides, discussion papers, and reports used to support instructor and senior leader decision making;
  • Participating in institutional committee work, including Faculty/School Councils, through consultations, resource support, and/or memberships;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of tactical plans, goals, and policies of the CTL;
  • Instructing faculty in defining learning objectives and outcomes, curriculum mapping, design, and effective assessment strategies; and
  • Designing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives and professional development programs based on an evidence-informed approach to educational development.
