About the Role:
We're looking for a experienced and people-driven Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the management of a 1,000+ suite residential portfolio while delivering exceptional resident experiences at every touchpoint. You will lead and mentor our Resident Services team, empowering them to provide the kind of consistent, high-quality service that keeps our residents proud to call our communities home. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to grow within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organization and make a meaningful impact on our communities.
What You'll Do:

Partner closely with the General Manager to ensure all day-to-day operations are executed efficiently.

Provide direct oversight and leadership to the Resident Services (Front Desk) team.

Manage team performance through coaching, training, and accountability to service standards.

Support scheduling, workload management, and day-to-day team coordination.

Act as the primary support for Yardi and Rent Café, including troubleshooting and user guidance.

Lead onboarding of new team members, including system setup and training on workflows and tools.
-
Take ownership of Accounts Receivable, including monitoring arrears, following up on outstanding balances, and coordinating payment plans.

Prepare reports and support collection strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize delinquency.

Act as the main point of contact for residents, resolving inquiries, complaints, and escalations with empathy and accountability.

Prepare and distribute resident communications, notices, and reports with accuracy and consistency.

Generate Purchase Orders and coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure properties are well maintained.

Conduct regular building and unit inspections, including turnover walks, and follow up on deficiencies.

Support the planning and execution of resident events and community activations.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and champion standardization across systems and processes.
Who You Are:

3+ years of experience in residential property management.
-
Proven experience leading and managing a team.
-
Strong working knowledge of Yardi and Rent Café is an asset.
-
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
-
Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation Package:$70,000 – $80,000 CAD annually, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.
