Bring our luxury wine brand to life through unforgettable tastings and elevated events. In this guest-facing role, you’ll host on-site and off-site experiences, represent the brand in the community, and help create the moments that turn first-time visitors into lifelong supporters.
About the role
You’ll split your time between hosting elevated tastings (on-site and off-site) and executing brand experiences such as curated dinners, wine club events, and community partnerships. This summer, you'll lead the tasting experience at Ailm Estate’s Outdoor Pop Up Wine Shop to deliver standout tasting experiences that turn first-time visitors into lifelong fans. You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Wine Shop teams to ensure every interaction reflects the standards, story, and service expected of a luxury brand.
Locations:
Ailm Estate : 4500 Stewart Rd. Kelowna.
Quails Gate Estate : 3303 Boucherie Rd. West Kelowna.
What you’ll do
- Host elevated tasting experiences that educate, engage, and inspire guests.
- Serve as a polished, confident brand ambassador at the winery, off-site venues, and community events.
- Plan and execute brand events, including wine club gatherings, dinner series, and special experiences.
- Represent the brand at select trade and community events, building meaningful connections and partnerships.
- Support wine sales in the tasting room.
- Coordinate schedules, set-up, and on-the-ground execution for tastings and events with precision and service excellence.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Wine Shop teams to ensure brand alignment and an exceptional guest experience.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in sales and/or luxury hospitality; experience with traditional method sparkling wine/Champagne is a strong asset.
- A genuine love of wine, with the ability to share knowledge in a warm, accessible way.
- A polished presence, strong etiquette, and a passion for storytelling and hospitality.
- Relationship-builder mindset—you enjoy creating loyal guests and long-term connections.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work events, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Professionalism and discretion aligned with a luxury brand.
Work environment
Some work is performed in a customer-facing pop-up tasting room in a shipping container environment with regular movement between indoor and outdoor spaces. You’ll work as part of a small team of 2 to 3 people.
