Typical day in a role:
- Performs the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications..
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies..
- Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers. • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Working on CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Creating, managing, and analyzing surveys.
- Performing data analysis using SQL and Excel to profile data and identify data inconsistencies.
- Using PowerBI for visualizing insights.
- Conducting root cause analysis and business documentation to track issues.
- Working across business, data and IT stakeholders.
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience conducting root cause analysis and creating business documentation to track issues.
- 3-5 years data analysis experience using SQL and Excel to profile data and identify data inconsistencies.
- Demonstrated experience creating, managing, and analyzing surveys.
- 3-5 years’ experience with PowerBI for visualizing insights.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- 2-3 years hands-on experience with this CRM platform strongly preferred: Salesforce
- Working across multiple teams and stakeholders (business, data and IT).
- Experience with MDM (master data management) tools.
- Experience with building data solutions and gathering requirements for those types of projects.
Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Presentation skills – summarizing findings in a PPT format and presenting to varying levels of stakeholders
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
