š¼ What You'll Own
As our Senior Systems Designer (IC role), you'll architect the core systems that define combat:
- Design & balance deep gameplay systems for moment-to-moment and long-term experiences
- Define combat/weapons frameworks, progression systems, and meta-game structures
- Prototype rapidly in UE5 using player feedback to guide decisions
- Drive systemic balance for fair, competitive play
- Guide tuning of character abilities, weapons, and progression rewards
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and artists on interconnected systems
ā Core Requirements
- Expert-level Unreal Engine 5 Ā - gameplay system integration & prototyping
- Proven FPS systems design Ā - shipped competitive FPS or action titles
- Deep systems expertise Ā - progression, meta-game, retention mechanics
- Data-driven approach Ā - analytical skills for balance & iteration
- Player-first mindset Ā - building systems that enhance agency & mastery
