Job Summary
The Procurement team is seeking a Category Manager to drive productivity, performance, and profitability by aligning people, processes, and systems with organizational goals. In this role, you will play a key part in our transformation from a traditional retailer to an omni-channel, tech-first fashion leader. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead renewal and acquisition processes across multiple
categories, focusing on Marketing (agencies, influencers, PR), Finance, Procurement; - Negotiation and Legal: Lead organization-wide contract negotiations in close
partnership with the Legal Department; - Financial Oversight: Provide direct and indirect budget oversight while ensuring strict
organizational adherence to financial targets; - Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a dedicated partner to Marketing teams, supporting
the sourcing and contracting of agencies, influencer partnerships, and campaign-driven
activities; - Change Management: Drive the adoption of standardized procurement tools,
templates, legal documents, and RFP processes; - Project Management: Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced
environment, ensuring strong organization, tracking, and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Law with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proven experience in legal contract review;
- Strong presentation and coaching abilities;
- Strong business acumen, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments;
- A natural builder of partnerships who can challenge the status quo with impactful ideas;
- Direct experience supporting Marketing procurement (e.g., media agencies, influencer contracts);
- General awareness of the Retail industry;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
