Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Monitor and control access to the parking facility, including ID verification
  • Enforce parking rules and regulations consistently
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently, including operation in confined spaces
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are locked after parking
  • Issue, collect, and manage valet tickets and ensure secure key storage
  • Provide assistance, directions, and answer guest inquiries as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, parking equipment, signage, and lot
  • Complete daily logs and accurately report incidents, violations, safety concerns, or equipment issues
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times

Customer Relations

  • Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service
  • Address customer concerns professionally and assist with solutions
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and clients in English

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Canadian Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Minimum three (3) years of driving experience and ability to maneuver vehicles in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles considered an asset
  • Previous valet experience considered an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform occasional physical tasks
