Our Calgary Head Office is seeking aSafety Summer Studentto support our diverse operating companies. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated post-secondary student enrolled in an OH&S program.This is a full-time, in office position from May through August 2026.

Description: Under the direction of the Safety Manager, the summer student will provide administrative and project support to help ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations. The role will support Executive Flight Centre’s standards, systems, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support, including data entry, document creation and formatting, and preparing charts, graphs, and reports.
  • Support additional OH&S projects and tasks as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support a positive client experience.
  • Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service.
  • Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Applicants must currently be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution and returning to full time studies in the fall.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential capacity, high level of professionalism.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business communication tools.
  • Familiarity with digital Safety Management System (SMS) platforms is considered an asset.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, creative, and positive attitude.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to function effectively in teams as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.
