Position Summary

Kiewit is hiring experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanics for the Marine Yard in Coquitlam, BC.

Position Requirements

Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Journeyman Red Seal Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance Marine maintenance experience is an asset Driver's license, and clean Driver's Abstract

Compensation And Shift Details

Base wage: $48.56 per hour (paid weekly) Vacation/Stat pay: 10.4% Shift: Monday to Friday 8 hour days. Typical workdays range from 10–12 hours depending on project demands. Overtime after 8 hours Saturday, Sunday and/or Statutory Holiday work may be required as needed

Additional Information

Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test Must be compliant with Kiewit Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies Due to the volume of applicants, only those meeting minimum qualifications will be contacted

The Kiewit Marine Yard actively services Kiewit’s Canadian Equipment fleet. Yard operations focus on servicing Kiewit’s equipment and supporting job sites across the Lower Mainland, while also fabricating materials for various projects.
