The successful candidate must possess organizational skills and be proficient in working with computer software. Reporting to the Dean, Mining, Technology, Trades and Apprenticeships, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, delivery and monitoring of apprenticeship training as well as School College Work Initiative training on a College-wide basis. The successful candidate is also responsible to conduct research and needs analysis of training opportunities in the catchment area. What you will be doing: Develop, coordinate and deliver specific apprenticeship, dual credit and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program programs and acts as a resource as necessary; Collate, distribute and assure timelines are met, for all course related materials (handbooks, manuals, study guides, etc.) in collaboration with faculty to ensure compliance with Ministry standards, as well as College, academic, and departmental policies and procedures; Ensure program integrity through the effective management of synopses/course outlines each academic year in compliance with Quality Assurance polices and procedures; Maintain complete and accurate student records. Liaising with the Registrar’s office to ensure students are properly registered in all programs, fees are paid, and accurate grades are entered; Complete and maintain hiring documents; and Verify, input and record full and part-time faculty SWFs for specific departments on all applicable campuses. A detailed job description is available from the Human Resource Services department. What you will need to be considered: 2-year diploma in Business Administration, Community/Program Development or other related/relevant field of study; and Minimum two (2) years of experience in program delivery/coordination, budgeting, MIS, and research.
