Why is this role important?
The Project Associate is responsible for coordinating client support and information dissemination activities related to a variety of projects.
The Project Associate assists in researching and assembling evidence related to the projects, supporting data and information management activities, facilitating the dissemination of project related materials to clients, and assists with regular reviews and updates to communication, education and promotional materials including the webpages, workshops, web conferences and internal and external presentations. Working with other team members, the Project Associate is also responsible for coordinating and providing timely client support and assistance related to client requests.
What you'll do

Provides support and coordination for data and information management activities.

Responsible for the electronic mailboxes for the related projects and coordinates timely responses to clients.

Coordinates the maintenance of pan-Canadian stakeholder contact lists, including updates to the stakeholder contact information and distribution lists in the corporate Client Relationship Management (CRM) system; communicates any issues or discrepancies to the program area and Central Client Services.

Assists with coordinating the distribution of materials and/or reports to stakeholders and materials for meetings of various internal and external committees, stakeholder groups and educational workshops (face-to-face, teleconference or web conference calls).

Assists with activities related to website user acceptance testing.

Assists in administration of Data Dissemination Tool used for data preview and quarterly indicator reports, as required.

Participates in meetings and assists with minute taking, as required.

Assists with a range of project related duties, as assigned.
What you'll bring to the table
• Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Communications or related field.
• 2 years related experience in project coordination.
• Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately.
• Understanding descriptive and inferential statistics is an asset.
• Ability to effectively interpret data and information.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of information management tools and processes.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as integrate with the team.
• Experience in identifying, establishing and/or continuously improving administrative and project/program management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English is required, bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
