Sessional Instructor - MGST 615 LEC 05 (EMBA), Winter 2026, Haskayne School of Business
About the role
The Executive MBA Program at the Haskayne School of Business is accepting applications for a Sessional Instructor to co-teach a blended section of Winter 2026 MGST 615 LEC 05 (Strategic Business Analysis). While the lecture sessions are scheduled for one-half day on either Friday or Saturday four times between January 2 to April 25, 2026, the sessional will be working and meeting with the students throughout the term.
The calendar description of the course: "Integrates learning from various management disciplines through "field experience" projects. Students work with project sponsors and others in the organization, providing deep analysis and evidence-based recommendations on challenges and opportunities."
Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent degree is required; PhD is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation is required.
- Industry experience in strategic consulting (quality of achievements and years of experience considered) is strongly preferred.
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience at the graduate level is a requirement
- Ability to mentor project teams on project process and stakeholder engagement is required.
- Prior experience coaching MGST 615 is required.
- Experience teaching strategy, finance, or entrepreneurship courses at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
