Technology Field Technician
Team: Projects Team
Description
As a Technology Field Technician on our Projects Team at SuRe InnoVations, you will be accountable for the successful installation, commissioning and testing of Technology products and systems. Guided by our core values of Customer Focus, Innovation, Honesty, and Care, you will work closely with Project Management, Design and Sales to create solutions that bring value to our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Technology Install
Visit our customer’s homes and businesses to install Technology systems. Work with Project Management to Plan and Prepare projects to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and quality of work. Work with the Design Team to ensure installations are done correctly, designs are optimized, and documentation is in order for the customer service team. Be courteous, clean and professional at all times. Manage your workload via a cloud-based task management system. Collaborate with the Electrical and Security Technicians on projects with integrated solutions.
Commissioning & Programming
Commission products for proper operation and integration with other products within technology systems. Perform basic field programming to make adjustments to perfect the customer experience. Test products and integration features to ensure performance as intended by sales and design.
Prerequisite Skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
General computer skills Excellent troubleshooting, logic, and reasoning skills Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines Strong attention to detail
Prerequisite Qualifications
Maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract
Provide acceptable criminal record check Provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 Must have achieved Grade 12 diploma or higher Service and/or technology experience is preferred
Additional Details
Pay is negotiable, and based on experience and value created
Benefits offered after 3 months of employment Hours are Monday to Friday, 8-4:30. Some overtime required On the job training will be provided
