We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Proposal Specialist to join our Business Development team reporting to the Manager of Business Development in Saint John, NB. This role is responsible for independently and collaboratively developing high-quality proposals that align with our strategic goals and reflect a deep understanding of our business. The ideal candidate is deadline-driven, adaptable, and capable of thinking critically and creatively to deliver compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and edit proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure proposal accuracy
• Interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear, persuasive content
• Ensure proposals are compliant with client specifications and company standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Maintain proposal templates and Marketing collateral
• Support continuous improvement of proposal processes
• Conduct post-submission reviews and contribute to lessons learned
• Assist with Supplier set-up forms and documentation
• Actively monitor sites for opportunities
• Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a proposal writing or technical writing role
• Experience in wholesale supply, manufacturing, or a related industry
• University degree preferred, ideally in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
• Familiarity with procurement processes and business development strategies
• Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in written communication
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Adaptable and focused, with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to see the big picture
• Creative thinker with the ability to understand and articulate our business value
• University degree preferred, ideally in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
• Knowledge of Contract Law is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
