About the role
School District #46 - Sunshine Coast Landscape Horticulturist Applications are now being accepted for the temporary full-time position of Landscape Horticulturist. Applicants must have a valid B.C. driver's license (Class 5) and B.C. Trade Certification as Gardener or Horticulturist. A minimum of four years' experience at the journeyman level is also required. The successful applicant must be willing to complete the Playground Safety Inspection course. The primary duties of the position are to provide landscaping services and outside grounds maintenance to the District Facilities. A full job description is available on our website at .
The position is included in Local 801 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees and is effective immediately to December 31, 2025 or the return of the incumbent, and may support a gradual return to work plan. The hours are 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, day shift. The starting wage for the position is $36.37.
