About the role

We are looking for motivated Event Cooks to enhance our kitchen team at Beach House in West Vancouver. As an Event Cook, you have a passion for food and hospitality, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to learn and grow. Our event business is one of the busiest event spaces on the North Shore. This is a highly skilled, fast paced role and requires someone with previous culinary experience who is able to finesse high quality food at lightning speed with a keen eye for detail.

As an Event Cook, you will:

  • Be responsible for both day and evening execution of events ranging from 20 to 100 people.
  • Be responsible for both the prep and execution of the events.
  • If there is any downtime from events, you will be scheduled as a prep team support and line cook in our business to maintain your hours.

  • A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Food Safe Level 1 is a bonus.
  • The ability to legally work in Canada.
