We’re Hiring!
We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Gatekeeper in our Production Department at our Leamington ON Farms facility.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry for all production orders.
- Collaborate with Line Leads, Allocation Coordinator, Inventory Control Clerk, and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure alignment on the daily production schedule, including label requirements, case quantities, and shipping times.
- Identify and record lot numbers for dry goods to consume accordingly.
- Ensure #2 and waste products are entered correctly into Business Central.
- Monitor chats, production schedules, and email groups for real-time order changes.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the cooler and staging areas to ensure all inventoried products are correctly labeled in real time before leaving the production area.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Escalate operational issues and delays to the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
- Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.

What You Bring:
- Experience with computers, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
- Strong understanding of all pack specifications required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Previous experience as a Gatekeeper is an asset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, or with tight constantly changing deadlines.
- Spanish is an asset.
What To Expect:
- Fast paced warehouse environment where temperatures can be very hot, humid, moist or cold for most of the year.
- Balance periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the warehouse.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Standard workdays are Monday-Saturday, with additional hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules.
- Ability to lift and carry items typically ranging from 10–50 kg (22–110 lbs), depending on role requirements.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching to perform tasks.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
