##Internal Audit Co‑Op

(Summer 2026 | 8, 12, or 16‑month work term | Conversion potential)

##WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL:

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you’ll support a variety of audit, risk, and advisory engagements across the business. This role provides broad exposure to operational, financial, regulatory, and IT‑related risks.

You will:

  • Support the planning and execution of internal audits and advisory engagements across business units
  • Document business processes, procedures, and controls using established audit methodologies
  • Perform audit procedures including walkthroughs, sample testing, data analysis, and evidence review
  • Identify, document, and help assess issues, risks, and root causes
  • Support evaluation of operational, financial, and IT controls and governance processes
  • Assist in preparing clear, concise audit findings and value‑added recommendations
  • Help draft audit reports and presentations for Internal Audit Management and business stakeholders
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit plan
  • Support investigations of unusual or suspicious transactions as required
  • Maintain audit documentation in audit software in accordance with timelines and standards
  • Complete special projects and advisory work as assigned

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be treated as a contributing member of the team, not a shadow resource.

##OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We’re looking for a motivated, mature, and curious student who is eager to learn and ready to take ownership of their work.

You are:

-Enrolled in or recently completeda university‑level program in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a closely related field

  • Final‑semester or near‑graduation students are strongly preferred
  • Master’s or post‑graduate students with an interest in the CPA path are encouraged to apply
  • Familiar with accounting, auditing, risk, or controls concepts through coursework, projects, or practical exposure
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with data and documentation
  • A strong communicator who can interact professionally with stakeholders at various levels
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) -Able and willing to travel(approximately 10–20% domestic and international, primarily within Canada and the U.S.)
    • Travel is typically short‑duration (4–5 business days)
  • In possession of avalid driver’s license; access to a vehicle is preferred
