New Business (Canada) Responsible to: Vice President Business Development Pay: CA$50,000.00-CA$60,000.00 per year base salary Job Description: About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to help drive new growth across Canada. This is a front-line sales role focused on building pipeline, engaging prospective clients, and supporting the expansion of existing relationships. You will play a critical role in introducing Estatesearch to new clients, identifying opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth in a fast-evolving legal technology environment.
The role will report to the Vice President, Business Development
Key Responsibilities Business Development Develop plans for growth within the territory to grow pipeline Identify and engage new prospects through outbound outreach, referrals, and industry events Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales stakeholders Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts Client Engagement Build relationships via LinkedIn, email, phone, and virtual/in-person meetings Act as a first point of contact for inbound inquiries Gather client feedback to support product development and market positioning Pipeline & CRM Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM Track activities, pipeline progress, and performance against KPIs Team & Market Contribution Share market insights, trends, and competitive intelligence Support onboarding of new team members as needed Experience & Qualifications Experience in sales, business development, or a target-driven environment Strong familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) Experience managing KPIs and sales targets Background in legal or professional services (preferred) Skills & Attributes Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Highly organized and self-motivated Resilient and comfortable in a performance-driven environment Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Bilingual (English/French) is an asset Our Values We look for individuals who are: Ambitious – committed to growth and continuous improvement Curious – eager to learn and explore new ideas Resilient – able to adapt and persevere through challenges Collaborative – supportive team players with strong empathy Work Environment Mostly remote with some onsite work required Occasional travel for client meetings and industry events Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5X 1C9
