Detailed Description of Duties:
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals as required for tasks
- Read equipment manuals to understand function and operation, and to troubleshoot issues
- Install, repair, and test industrial electrical equipment, electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Assist in designing, purchasing components, building and commissioning automation control cabinets (PLCs etc.)
- Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Install, repair, and test switchgear, transformers, load reactors, test electrical motors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
- Build, modify, and install support structures and stands for electrical cabinets, tray, disconnects, etc.
- Mount / install electric motors – electrically and mechanically
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Requirements
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**
- Minimum one year of relevant experience
- You have Red Seal Millwright certification
- Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
- Has experience with electrical installations of industrial equipment and automation systems
- Familiar with mechanical systems
