Key Responsibilities Support Supply Chain Project Manager and Production Planning of various tasks OEM sites and their suppliers associated located in the UK & Europe.

Build, mentor and monitor your DAFR team ensuring robust visit schedules and delivery plans are in place.

Manage a small team in-line with agreed project deliverables and ensuring Quest Global practices are adhered to.

Act as escalation point for the DAFR team on supplier and sub-tier supply chain issues.

Facilitate Quality and Engineering issues between OEM and the supply chain.

Communicate Customer part status to internal and external customer stakeholders at agreed intervals or when escalation is required.

Ensure visit reports are compiled and program status uploaded utilising live reporting tools and link to suppliers ERP system.

Support: on site at Supplier Events, Assessments, Playbook Roll Out, Supplier platinum, business reviews

Work Experience

  • Aerospace Experience in Supply Chain / Production Planning / Quality / Operations environment
  • Previous experience of managing cross functional team
  • Experience in using SAP or similar ERP system
  • Understanding of Aerospace Manufacturing processes ie Forging / Casting / Assembly / Machining / Special Processes
  • Experience of structured problem solving methodology: Lean / ACE, lead change/improvement activity / DMAIC / 6 Sigma etc
  • Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawing and technical information
  • Ability to influence decision making
  • Travel above 50% - in Europe
  • Formal auditing qualification
  • Good Communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills
  • Second European language (French, German, Spanish, Polish etc.) a benefit
  • Customer Focus - Ability to build and develop Customer & Supplier relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft work packages: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Organisational Agility & Logical Thinking
