Account Manager – Car Rental Software – North America

RentWorks and RentWorks+ – Car Rental Software

We’re hiring an Account Manager – North America to manage and grow relationships with customers using RentWorks and our new RentWorks+ platform, our next-generation car rental management solution.

This role is focused on driving account growth within our existing customer base, helping rental operators maximize the value of their current RentWorks platform while identifying opportunities to expand their use of our software and migrate to RentWorks+.

As an Account Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to rental operators across North America while identifying opportunities to upsell additional functionality, introduce RentWorks+, and expand platform adoption as our customers’ businesses evolve.

About RentWorks and RentWorks+

RentWorks is a leading car rental management platform used by rental operators across North America to manage their day-to-day operations. Our new platform, RentWorks+, represents the next evolution of rental software, providing modern tools for fleet management, rental agreements, maintenance tracking, reporting, payments, customer communications, and integrations with industry-leading technologies. Together, these platforms help rental businesses improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and deliver a superior rental experience for their customers.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in Canada, working in a remote work model!

What Your Day Will Look Like**:**

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing RentWorks customers across North America
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure a high level of customer engagement
  • Identify opportunities to expand accounts through upselling additional features, modules, and services
  • Proactively introduce customers to RentWorks+ and drive migration from RentWorks to RentWorks+
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer operations and identify opportunities for software expansion
  • Demonstrate how RentWorks+ capabilities can improve operational efficiency, fleet utilization, and customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customers in adopting additional functionality and expanding platform usage
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track account activity, opportunities, and pipeline
  • Meet or exceed account growth and expansion targets
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights to support the ongoing development of RentWorks and RentWorks+

About You**:**

  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, SaaS sales, or Customer Success with revenue responsibility
  • Proven experience growing existing accounts through upselling or expansion
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Comfortable discussing operational challenges and positioning software solutions
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting revenue or expansion targets
  • Experience in the car rental, fleet management, or automotive software industry is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite, with an additional European language being highly advantageous
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
