Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Practice: Banking & Financial Services, Global Consulting
About The Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will make an impact by driving strategic transformation initiatives across Capital Markets clients. You will be a valued member of our Banking & Financial Services practice and work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
What You Will Accomplish
- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze trade lifecycle processes and perform data gap assessments.
- Define target state processes and develop functional specifications, data mapping, and reporting logic.
- Provide technical guidance to development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert across asset classes including derivatives, Fixed Income, Cash, Securities Lending, and Repos.
- Support consulting assessments such as current vs. target state analysis and process optimization.
- Coordinate UAT, assist with production implementation, and support user training and documentation.
- Communicate requirements, status updates, and project issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Operate effectively within Agile delivery frameworks.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and asset classes, especially Fixed Income, Cash, Securities Lending, and Repos.
- Proven experience in systems implementation, data mapping, and re-engineering.
- Familiarity with Broadridge products (e.g., Broadridge Settlement BPSA (Advantage)) is an asset.
- Experience as a Lead Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Project Manager.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
